Quick process

The team moved fast and were responsive to any queries. The price was most competitive out of the other quotes.

Unfortunately with the installation, we noticed a severely rusted screw used to fasten the inverter to the garage wall. I brought this up with Target Solar the day after installation and they liased with the installation contractor to come out and replace it - which was greatly appreciated. However it doesn't inspire the most confidence in wondering what screws/hardware was used to secure the solar panels on the roof where it's harder for a customer to inspect.

An Installer with a Great Work Ethic.

I was worried, bordering on being concerned, dealing with Sales people interstate. The process worked but all along I was troubled as to whether their knowledge of the conditions & geography of Adelaide was adequate. They assured me that they had a presences in Adelaide but my check of the address in their website did not seem to check out. A number of phone calls did take place and eventually I accepted their quote.
The installer (Mark Green) soon set aside my lingering doubts - not by way of words but by total application to task & a debrief & handover that left me much more informed than I could believe.

Superb Solar Company

Target Solar provided me with a great setup at an affordable price. I pursued them through a platform (bid my solar) where I was trusted that this company had been around for a while and were on the ball with everything. The installers did a great job with no corners cut and took their time to ensure everything not just worked but looked micky mouse. Would recommend to any of my family or friends.

Exception customer service

Great customer service - it all started a year ago when Sarav took the initiative to visit our residence and spend time with us explaining various options
It took us a year to decide as we had to chop off a few trees, when we restarted the conversation Parvez visited is to seal the deal
They are not the cheapest nor are the most expensive however they provide the confidence & service to make it worthwhile engaing them
We reviewed multiple options, they did not push any but with our location the choice was obvious

From the start to end the process was simple fast and efficient.

Quoting process was easy with Patrick, he listened to our needs and budget. They were the best of 4 quotes received and I undertook a full procurement elevation of each supplier quote!
A week later the installation team arrived at the time stated and the job was complete by 2pm. They were tidy & polite.
in addition to installation, they took away our old 1.5kms system.

Great communication - provided a variety of quotes as I fined tuned my system

Target Solar responded promptly to all communication.
Installation occurred on the scheduled date and went smoothly. I had an issue with the wireless communications. It turned out to be a failed comms module which was replaced under warranty at no expense.

The whole process from beginning to end has been very good. The installation information in the quote was very clear, what type of inverter, type of solar panels etc.

The installation was very quick after accfeptance of the quoted price. The installers arrived on time as detailed and did a very good job of the whole removal of the old system and install of the new system.

Customer Service has been good whith the ability to ask questions and get immediate answers.

Overall I would certainly recomend Target Solar for the cost, price and quality of the installation and product.

I went to Target Solar by word of mouth. I got in touch with Noor. He was extremely honest, helpful and friendly . There was no pushy attitude. I got lots of support pre and post installation. Things were done in no time. There were no hidden costs. Highly recommend them.

Excellent value and installation quality

I did my research before and some of the negative review for TargetSolar was based on them not having their own installation team in NSW and probably due to bad contractor there are some bad jobs reported in rural NSW. My experience is this doesn't apply for Sydney metro region. Yes they did use contracted installer, but the service quality was very good, have no complain.

Value: I obtained about six quotes from various suppliers and TargetSolar was the best by a very far margin.

Design phase: Noor and the team was quite good adapting to my requests. I asked for tilted installation and specific brand of panel, as well as going through details of shading profile/inverter location. They are very knowledgable and accommodated all my needs.

Installation quality: had no issue, the installation team was professional, good quality installation and site fully cleaned up at the end of day.

Post installation service: extremely efficient and streamlined. They helped me sorting our the last bit (connecting with my electricity provider). I barely have to do anything.

5/5 service, will recommend to everyone.

Great Installer!

-Sales and quoting process was great,The Salesperson was really helpful (Mr. P) He is proactive given that I am particular with what I want.

-Installation team was good, I like how they organize the pipes on the inverter, on the other hand, installer are not that punctual and the installation + configuration of the inverter took 4 working days all together. Anyway the installer are great, it's just a combination of little things that makes the installation time longer.

Customer service is great as well (Ms. N) she is just ready to assist me during and after installation.

They were very efficient in providing options for my installation, maintaing good communication over the process and the final work undertaken by an efficient and competant team.

Targetsolar very satisfactory quote and installation

The quote was more than $2000 cheaper than the original quote from another supplier, but with more kilowatt potential. The panels (Jinko) were one of the highest rated on your website, Finn, and so was the inverter I think. There was a slight problem during installation inasmuch as telecom disc on our roof was casting a shadow on some of the panels but the installers found a work-around for that at minimal additional cost. One of the fuses on our powerbox was faulty but the installers went off and sourced a replacement despite it being a Sunday. Overall we are very satisfied with the quote, customer service and installation and would recommend TargetSolar. Of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and we havent received our first bill under solar, but we are confidently expecting something like a 70% saving. Will let you know if that is not the case!

Good service from Target solar - Western Melbourne

Completed Installation in Western Melbourne region. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. Noor explained the ideal panel configuration and inverter requirement for the house. Did not upsell anything than what's required.

Delivery was scheduled on Thursday to receive the panels. Installation was on the following Monday.

The Installation team took 10 hours roughly for a colourbond roof. Had to modify the orientation of the PVC panels on the roof due to downpipe roof clashing. No additional cost was incurred apart from the inverter.

Roughly took 3 weeks from quote to installation and the quote was requested on Christmas 2023.

The only caveat is that when the email was sent out , I only noticed the installation date but didn't realize the delivery date was only mentioned on the second line item. If you can bullet point separately that would be ideal.

Target solar representative worked diligently in discussing the pro's and con's of the system capacity options and then changing my quotation to meet our personal needs.

They organized and follow up on all required commissioning documentation including application paperwork for grid connection.
House inspection and actual Installation was completed in a safe, timely manner and to Australian Standards, reflected by the State's inspectors onsite visit.

Very Happy with installation, and seeing difference it makes on the app to the usage

Quoting process was straight forward, Target Solar calculated best fit system size based on roof space and direction. And existing power usage.

The installation was quick, all done in one day. Was shown the system and was working from day one.

They did all the organising for the meter replacement, we just had to make confirm with the retailer that was OK to do that day.

Professional work

Pervaiz was quite professional. The quoting process was great however if the amount finalised including GST was made clearer it would have been excellent.

The installation went very smooth. All the workers were quite professional and knew what they were doing. The wrorkers were professionals and they cleared everything before they left.
The customer service was excellent and with all our queries we got a very prompt reply from the whole team. All our questions and concerns were dealt with clarity and professionalism.

Customer service

We chose Target Solar asked on reviews we had read. After getting three quotes, it was the customer service aspect of dealing with Target Solar- in particular their sales rep, Meet - he was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied with our decision.

Our installation process posed them some logistical issues and yet Meet made us feel comfortable as he resolved it all and engaged a very competent team of electricians to do our installation.

Once started the actual installation ( and removal of our old system ) was seemless and happened cleanly and quickly with little disruption to us or our neighbors.

Meet is an asset to their company.

We had really good experience in installing the new Solar panel. Sales person was patient enough to respond to all our queries and gave us some good clarity on what Solar/inverter we required based on our daily usages.

Good installation and quote

The quoting process was good and the installation went well . However i was told it would take only a day and it actually took 2 days but all went well in the end. The installers were polite but arrived quite late making the finish time when it was getting dark. They have helped in the grid connection after the install and in getting my app up and running.

- Sales and quote is easy.
- Installation is a breeze, on-time and easy to deal with.
- Post-installation customer service is excellent. I had to deal with two separate issues re: inverter app and Princy G. responded timely and look into the issue consistently until issue is resolved.

All good

All good, apart from the faceless face of the company. Everything is done via phone or email (overall service was good) with no human interaction with the company (in fact at first I feared they were a spoof and I had been scammed), but the response time and quality was always good.
I think their overall customer service would be better if they had some human interaction with the customer (but I presume that adds to the price).
Price wise both recommended installers were roughly the same, but they were both about $5,000 cheaper than a local installer I contacted and who came out to check the site and talk to me.
I went with Target Solar due to their superior feedback ratings on google.
The installers took their time but in the end did a good job (better slow and good than the other way around).

Responsive and customer-focussed

Target Solar were very responsive during the sales/quoting process. Following an initial call to better understand what I was looking for, they presented me with a few options and took the time to work with me to fine-tune and better understand the technical details on all options. In the end, after quite a bit of deliberation, the final system I went with was exactly as originally quoted which I think demonstrates that Target Solar took the time to consider my specific circumstances and quoted accordingly, rather than providing a template quote.
From there things didn't move as quickly as I had hoped on account of some uncertainty around my existing meter installation, but once resolved the installation proceeded promptly. On installation day there was still some uncertainty around different aspects of the installation that I think could have been resolved prior with a site visit, but overall the installation process was relatively straight-forward.
My system has been online for over a month now and has been operating without any issues. My follow up questions after installation have also been dealt with quickly. Overall I've been very happy with the whole process with Target Solar.
