Revealed — 2025’s best-rated solar installers in the ACT, Tasmania and Northern Territory based on customer reviews published on SolarQuotes.
The winners for 2025 were decided after a weighted calculation of solar installer reviews on SolarQuotes submitted by customers of these businesses in each state/territory. Taking this approach meant smaller operators with fewer reviews had a better chance against their larger competitors. Analysis included all installers active in the ACT, TAS and NT listed on SolarQuotes; not just businesses part of our referral network.
ACT Winner: Stag Electrical, Solar & Refrigeration
Stag Electrical is solar, battery, EV charger and air-conditioning installation firm headquartered over the border in New South Wales, but also serves the Canberra and ACT region (and VIC and WA). Founded in 2007 as a one-man operation, the company has grown substantially over the years and states it has completed more than 10,000 installations.

All state/territory first-place winners are finalists in the national 2025 SolarQuotes Installer Awards, the winners of which will be unveiled next week on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
