From start to finish excellent experience!
We just had a solar and battery system installed by this company. From the time of meeting Wayne and he recommending a plan to suit our needs. Till the final installation by Matt and his crew. The whole experience was very professional and we would highly recommend this company to anyone who are interested in a solar system to save on their electricity bill. Thankyou.Supplier Reply:

Finally got our solar and battery installed
System finally installed, took a lot of chasing to get an install date.Install completed in one day, unfortunately panels installed on natural aluminium railings instead of black railings that we were quoted.
Did not realise until we received the bill and paid for the system that they were the incorrect railings installed.
Install looks good, a pity they had to run conduit extetnally due to the house being clad in Hebel.
Apparently no other way when working with Hebel.
Good instructions given at the completion, assisted with getting the app installed on my phone.
One negative with the install was slight damage to the A/C condensor fins and drain outlet - appears that something has contacted them during the installation of battery and/or inverter.
Waiting for a response from the company.
Glad that the system is in and appears to be working well.

Great service overall
Great service - very quick quote and Shannon took the time to visit our property and explain the options. Other companies weren't so accommodating. There were a couple of pre-installation issues but 1Komma5 were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them.Price - very competitive for the solar and battery combo we were after.
Installation - very good. Team who did install was quick, helpful and left site very clean when they'd finished.
Time from quote to installation - it took a bit longer than expected (a few months rather than 3wks originally expected) due to:
1. delay in locating external electric box on property boundary (needed to confirm before they could book installation)
2. mix-up with the solar/battery option we agreed to install (not sure what happened but 1komma5 quickly resolved issue).
Overall review - I would definitely recommend 1Komma5 for solar and battery installation.

Customer service and communication are terrible
If I could give 0 stars then I would. Nothing but trouble with this company. It's been over 2 months for an install which says 2 weeks on their website. They completely changed the panel layout on the roof and put them on the Southern side without telling me. Then lied about a meeting we supposedly had explaining what they were doing. Had to contact CBS and then they took decided to offer a solution. Lo and behold on the day I took off from work to complete the install at 1000, they rock up at 12:45 and can't install the panels. I rang, they actually guaranteed they were coming today only to get a call at 3:00pm saying no they won't do it today. This is on top of not even rocking up on the first appointment. They take your money no worries but the installation is an absolute communication nightmare and full of lies. Look elsewhere.30 November 2025
I found the installer, pleasant deal with, installers themselves very clean tidy, no rubbish left, the main man installed the app and showed me how to use it. Very impressed with them.
Showed me how the inverter worked on the app.everything was connected by 1komma5 technician. Left me with nothing to doPanel rating: 5/5

Battery install
Good sales presentation, deposit paid in October but no installation date despite at least two follow-up calls/ emails from me22 October 2025
Fox ESS install
The sales guy, AJ was punctual, knowledgeable and answered most of my questions, either at the time or later by email.The installation went well. The team of two where on time, took the time they said it would take. They kept me in the loop during the install. They cleaned up after the install was completed.
They explained the system and gave a demonstration of the back up function.
I was left up to my own devices using the FoxESS app, however the installer couldn't connect to my system once I had logged on. He did give my a run down of the basic functions in the app.

Great company to deal with.
The sales rep answered all my questions and provided the information without any hard sales pitch. Very professional and knowledgeable about solar batteries.The installation went well and the electricians did a great job with installing the solar battery. They were polite, punctual and didn't leave a mess after completing the job.
The costumer service was fantastic and helped me with the grid connection after the installation.
Overall I'm very impressed with 1KOMMA5° and very happy that I decided to purchase my solar battery with them.

1KOMMA5 AU: A good quality battery and great service
The quoting process began shakily and I felt I was being charged too much for a battery that was too powerful for our 6.6 kWh solar panel system. We negotiated and they supplied the perfect battery for our solar system at a reasonable price. They were efficient, non-intrusive, tidied up and walked me through how to access and use the app to check on how the battery was functioning and thus optimise when to schedule the use of appliances. Even on cold cloudy days the panels produce energy and with the battery we hardly ever draw from the grid.Inverter rating: 5/5

Professional, Punctual and Polite
The team at 1komma5 impressed me with their professionalism, politeness and punctuality. From Wayne's quick response to my initial enquiry to installation of additional solar panels, new inverter and large solar battery took 3 weeks. A self sufficient solar system was installed in one morning by a team of polite young men who arrived punctually, carried out the work professionally and neatly. Smooth process from start to finish
The whole process was straightforward and well organised. The quoting stage was clear, with everything explained properly.Installation was over two days due to rainy weather. The team worked efficiently, and kept everything tidy throughout. The workmanship looks neat and well thought out, not rushed.
