Another solar by Lenergy!

I’m a local builder and Lenergy has handled the solar and air-conditioning on my projects for a couple of years now. They did the solar install for a doctors surgery we built in Bowral and, like always, the work was spot on. Clean install, easy to deal with, and everything has been running perfectly since. I keep using them for a reason — happy to recommend Lenergy to anyone.

Great overall experience installing a battery to an existing solar system

The process from start to finish was great. Fiona who was the initial contact took the time to explain the options and provided valuable advice around systems and size of battery. We ended up going with an Anker system that I had never heard of prior to Lenergy and are very happy with it.
Any paperwork was completed and Winston who booked and planned the installation was easy to deal with.
Once we confirmed and had everything organised the installation day went very smoothly. The guys turned up on time, explained the process, what they needed and would be doing and were done by lunchtime. They made sure everything was working as it should and access to the app was all sorted before leaving.

Excellent installation and follow-up

Having contacted Lenergy about installing solar panels and battery, an arrangement was made and followed up with a presentation by a company rep which included suggestions and accompanying explanations about panels and battery. It was most impressive allowing for questions and clarifications, and it gave us the confidence to proceed with the installation.
The installation was completed in a day (16 panels and one battery). After installation, clear and concise details about the system’s features were provided on the day. The site was left in a tidy state and later follow-up by the team kgwas once again excellent and in keeping with the entire process. All round an excellent outcome.

Efficient, on time and polite

The quote I got from Lenergy was the cheapest of 3. The owners are brothers, young, and energetic and know their trade. They have proficient staff and a good team ethos.
I appreciated that there was no hassles: they did what they said they’d do - a solar array plus reverse cycle ducted heating/cooling system - they did it on time, on budget and when I needed a follow up, there was no hassle about coming out to check something. I recommend them highly.

Great installation and service

Over the last five years Lenergy have installed rooftop solar power to my roof top including rebuild of my switch box in 2020,Air-conditioning, installed new power swiches 2021 and a 15 kw battery system 2025. All work of a high quality and within the quoted prices.

Amazing Solar Company

Lenergy have been amazing to deal with in every way in my journey. They are cost effective & thorough. My journey began with the amazing Fiona Humphries who not only made the initial quote appointment very pleasant, but she was very informative & definitely knew her stuff. Installation day came around very quickly & the boys that installed my big batteries were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. 1 week later we have a blackout in our area. At first nothing happened no power. I couldn't work out what to do, so called Lenergy at the office after hours & left a message. Sure enough I received a phone call from Lincoln & he took me step by step what to do. It was amazing we had lights through the house, fridge/freezer running & power points in the kitchen. Thank you Lenergy & your amazing team.

Their customer service was excellent across the board — from the sales team and office staff to the field contractors and service technician. Everyone was punctual, friendly, polite, and professional.
The team took care of all the subsidy paperwork and grid connection, making the process seamless. Whenever minor delays or issues arose, I was kept fully informed and everything was resolved quickly and efficiently.

High Quality Solar Company

From sales to installation Lenergy is a top quality solar company. Charles, our sales contact, was open, honest and helpful in his sales advice. He listened and understood our requirements and explained technical issues in terms I fully understood. The installation team was fantastic fixing issues with my existing panels setup as part of the service. Customer Service worked out the one problem I had with my system which turned out to be the placement of my own internet router. A great team.

Great Job from Lenergy

Our whole process with Lenergy was fantastic, from initial contact, through to quoting and installation. We wanted a company who we could actually talk to and help us understand. We certainly had that with Lenergy. The installation was smooth and on time. The guys were super polite and cleaned up afterwards. We recently had the pleasure of working with Winston and the Lenergy team for the design and installation of a family solar panel and battery system, and we couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience.

From the very beginning, Winston and the team stood out for their transparency throughout the whole process. They took the time to explain each step in detail, answering all of our questions thoroughly and ensuring we fully understood the system we were investing in. Excellent Installer great after sale follow up

Lenergy's sales and quoting was prompt and accurate. The Installation of our 3 x Hinen LFP 5.12kWh Battery Module (85000) and Smart Meter 1 x Hinen - DTSU666 (6 CTs) Metre in March 2025 connected to our existing 6.6kW Solar system, was seamless with all staff on time, punctual and polite with good communication throughout. They cleaned up on completion and left everything tidy. Lenergy customer service was excellent they organised the grid connection gave us detailed instruction on charging and function of the app and responded promptly to any of our questions after the completion of the installation.

Local NSW company that has been around for number of years with an office and workshop in the Southern Highlands.

Great service. Excellent installation. They are not your dirt cheap door knocker, fly-by-nighter types and that’s why we chose Lenergy.
Our system was installed professionally over 12 months ago now, and we have not had a single issue with it.

The ultimate professionals throughout

When we started looking for a home battery and upgrade of the existing solar system, I initially became aware of Lenergy through a satisfied friend. Charles came out and did the site evaluation, sizing and design, and I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He sent through the design and quote the very next day.

When we accepted the Lenergy quote we knew it would be several months backlog before the actual install, but on the scheduled date it all just happened - 2 trucks arrived punctually first thing and the team unpacked everything and started work. The installation supervisor kept us updated throughout the day and everything was complete on the same day. Faultless workmanship on both the solar upgrade and the Sigenergy battery.

The following day Lenergy checked in to make sure everything was working OK, and also a month or so later to check again on my satisfaction. I had experienced issues with my initial electricity VPP and Charles was able to provide advice on other retailer options.

Talking since then to various neighbours who have had battery installations from different suppliers, I have to inwardly smile at their experiences. It seems that many suppliers are still stuck in the last decade as far as their understanding of the modern environment - they may expertise in solar panels but they seem to have little understanding of total systems e.g. the balance of solar and battery, especially when using a VPP for time-shifting (with time-of-use feed-in tariffs).

To wrap it up - we have been extremely happy with Lenergy, and recommend them without hesitation. Totally professional, reliable and customer-focused.

Excellent experience - Two years in and no problems at all!!

We had Lenergy install our system two years ago and could not be happier. The process was easy and the installation was done with no fuss in less than a day. We looked around at a number of installers but being local (as well as price competitive) we went with Lenergy. We have had them do once clean of the system so far - again seamless. We have had not cause to call them back as everything has just worked as it should. Highly recommended!

Very happy with pre-sale, installation and overall service

We had a great experience with Lenergy, who expanded our existing system with an additional ~5kW solar panels and a 24kW battery. I had a great discussion with their sales director when we were pricing up the system and exploring options. The installation also went well, with plenty of communication, and a high standard of workmanship. After the installation I had no problem with talking to the team about any questions or issues. The people I dealt with were all very pragmatic and understanding of the importance of cost effectiveness, but also keenly interested in the technology and sustainability side (as am I).

Reliable and professional

Lenergy installed our Sigen EV wall charger and battery as separate jobs. Our overall experience of the sales, installation and the system after 4-5 months' use has been good. Sales representative answered all questions and volunteered information about various options, including suitable electricity plans for an EV household.
Battery installation had some delays to do with change in staff and a busy period for the installer but we were kept informed about this. All teams were polite, friendly and professional. An issue that emerged with hot water after battery installation got promptly dealt with by the company outside business hours.
We needed a bit of support after EV charger installation, which was provided.
Instructions about system configuration and help with scheduling was provided as requested. There was also a follow up call to ensure the system was working as expected.
Our system size seems well suited for our needs and has reduced our electricity bills as had been indicated.

Fantastic job done by experts from start to finish

We had Lenergy install our solar system at our place in Bundanoon and the whole experience was genuinely excellent. From the first conversation they were professional, responsive, and clearly knew their stuff, no pushy sales, just practical advice and a clear explanation of what would work best for our home.

The install itself was smooth and well organised. The team arrived when they said they would, worked efficiently, kept everything tidy, and took the time to walk me through how the system works once it was up and running. Communication throughout was spot on. I always knew what was happening and what the next step was.

Most importantly, the system has been performing really well, and it’s great peace of mind knowing it was done properly by people who take pride in their work. If you’re in the Southern Highlands and looking at solar, I’d absolutely recommend Lenergy without hesitation.

Battery installation made easy and affordable

We have had solar panels for five years and after talking to a representative from Lenergy, we decided to purchase a solar battery. We have had no regrets at all. The sales representative was professional and knowledgeable and the installation team consulted us about the best locations for the battery and then completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. Finance was arranged to help us with the upfront cost of the battery, and together with government rebates, the battery purchase was made possible. We love our new battery and are enjoying significant savings in our power bills.

Flawless Service

We have had this system for two years now and it hasn't missed a beat - the whole process with Lenergy was seamless and very efficient.

Great install, all the installer were very professional

Good price, great installers that knew their stuff. Install took a few days to complete but throughout I had good communication and everything was done neatly and no rubbish left around. System is bulletproof and has been working well for over 2 years now. Ended up getting the house upgraded to 3 Phase as well due to the great communication of the scoping team and tentative plans for future expansion. Thanks guys, well worth dealing with you. If you're in the Southern Highlands this is the best mob to deal with.

Good to deal with at first but installation process was disappointing

The salesman was pleasant, followed up regularly without being pushy and the quotes were competitive. When it made economic sense for me to do so I entered into a contract to install a 6.6kW system. On the day appointed the installation went reasonably well but I was pretty offended by the behaviour of the crew. They set up a loudspeaker on the roof that blasted out songs using foul language, they left discarded nuts and bolts on the ground and they tried to pressure me into a modem upgrade to communicate with the inverter that was unnecessary. A key part of the agreement I had with Lenergy was that they would take care of the replacement and removal of the existing electricity meters and notify the electricity suppliers. The meters were replaced but the old meter was just dumped on my meter box and, contrary to my explicit agreement with Lenergy, I was left to manage the 3-way discussion between me, Lenergy and electricity supplier. Polite requests for Lenergy to fulfil its obligations were ignored and I had to be threatening before anything happened. At least once all the unpleasantness was over the system has seemed to work as expected
