Founded in 2018, Empower Solar Australia (ESA) is based in Perth, Western Australia and has a presence in most states; with offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney.
ESA offers a wide range of services, including supply and install of grid-connect and off-grid solar and battery systems, EV chargers and hot water systems.

There is more to a solar intall than just installing and commisioning the system.
Empower Solar organised the install of our Sigenergy 48kWh battery with 25amps per phase 3 phase inverter and 24kW of panels in 3 strings on my shed roof.Install went smoothly and the system worked well from day 1.
I was a bit disapointed that the installers didn't tilt the panels on the south slope of the shed roof beyond flat.
Micheal from Empower solar said not good enough and got them back to install a propper tilt kit. A+ service right there to follow up even after they already have your money.
Was so impressed with the system that I decided an electric car for my wife was a good idea. The Empower Solar crew returned and stacked the 25kW DC DC Charger on top. 6 weeks later we have a new EV to replace 280,000km old i30 charging from the Sigenery set up.
We had trouble with the Sigenstore app not showing the DC DC charger correctly and some of the settings not working. The car charger even tripped out the whole system and left us un the dark 3 times
Micheal from Empower Solar was like a dog with a bone. He kept on at Sigenergy until the found the problem and unstalled an update that has everything working briliantly.
This Micheal fella is sort of their sales bloke but he is actually an electrical engineer that nerds out on all things solar. He can hold an technical conversation with an electrical contractor (my step son) where they know exactly what they are talking about. Goes well over my head tho.
I chose Empower Solar by happy accident. I had received a few quotes from various companies and when I called to ask questions I got "I will check with our engineers and get back to you"
I walked into Empower solar off the street. I was nearby on unrelated business and saw the sign.
Also saw 3 company EVs and a couple of chargers in their car park and load of solar panels on their roof.
Their guy Micheal got called to reception and I started peppering him with my questions. He not only answered them all but was able to understand what I was trying to achieve (energy independance in retirement with a big shed full of classic car restoration).
I have wound up with a system that has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin for a middle of the pack price compared to the other quotes I received.
I cannot speak highly enough of the service and enthusiasm of Micheal from Empower solar. I am very comfortable recommending Empower Solar to family and friends. The service after a company has got your money and is unlikely to sell you anything else is what separates the great companies from the pack.
Empower Solar have been bloody fabulous.

Great company to deal with. Money well spent.
I had an Alpha ESS 19.2kw battery system installed a few weeks ago and I'm extremely happy with the decision. The price I was quoted was surprisingly affordable, and much lower than quotes I received for a similar sized system.Alex from the Perth sales team was extremely helpful, answering all my questions and keeping me updated with progress.
The installation process was a breeze. The installers arrived on time and tidied up before leaving. The installer explained everything I needed to know, including how to use the app to monitor the system and update my preferences.
Overall, I'm glad I had the system installed, and have no reservations recommending Empower.

Great quality install of a Fantastic system
The sales person I was assigned to was prompt at following up and always happy to help.Other office staff also responsive, even during the crazy busy period they had Q1/2 2026.
They managed to fit our install in, even managed to keep the existing panels and inverter running and feeding the battery when there had to be a bit of a gap before installing the panels and EV DC charger. Great flexible system and installers.
First photo below is dud and there are some duplicates - but could not remove?

Great from start to finish
From start to finish it was a pleasure. Lindsey was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall we worked through system design and size.We’ve ended up with a SigenStor and Jinko panels.
The install date ended up being about three to four weeks earlier than expected which was a nice surprise.
The team who installed were efficient and friendly. They cleaned up well and showed us through the system.
All round great team.

I recently had a solar system installed by Empower Solar Australia in Perth and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the first consultation through to installation, the whole process was straightforward, professional, and stress-free.Alex was extremely knowledgeable about the products and took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. I was quite hesitant at the start because of all the horror stories you hear about solar companies, but Alex really put my mind at ease and made me feel confident throughout the process.
Pricing was mid-range compared to other quotes I received, but the level of service and support was definitely top-tier. The savings I’m already seeing are fantastic and make the investment well worth it.
The installation team were also excellent — friendly, efficient, and hassle-free. They got on with the job professionally, explained how to use the system properly, and even had a laugh along the way which made the experience feel very genuine and personable.
Highly recommend Empower Solar Australia to anyone considering solar in Perth.
Looking forward to getting a heat pump in the future as I have already got a Tesla Wall Charger!! I'm even going to change my heating and stove electric. I'm saving stacks!!

Excellent service and installation
Empower were fantastic. The salesperson listened to my requests and designed a system that optimised our difficult site. There are lots of trees in the wrong places.The installation team arrived on time on the set date. They worked efficiently and installed the system neatly and took away all the packaging.
I was shown how to manage the system app and was promised future assistance with it. So far I haven't needed any assistance. The system has worked faultlessly.

Love the Sigenergy System
After multiple quotes we decided to go with Empower Solar Australia "ESA", as they were the only Sigenergy provider that would visit the property. the salesman was great with no pressure. after signing the proposal i was hammered with emails from HO regarding paying the deposit (which I had already paid) once all that was sorted there was radio silence.I had to keep calling regarding and install date.
in the end their contractor done a great job installing the equipment, however communication from ESA was non-existent once they acknowledged my deposit had been paid.
It is unfortunate that the installation scheduling and communication was so poor as it ruined an otherwise great end product.

Installation booked and pending still, but confidence building experience so far.
Firstly, the installation has not happened yet, it is booked for April. However, I can give feedback on the experience so far.I felt that Jason from Empower really explored what I needed in more depth rather than just quoting on what I wanted and came up with the best option. For example, Jason convinced me that adding an AC coupled battery to my existing system was the optimal choice. The small improvement in efficiency of the DC coupled option was significantly outweighed by the price price and practicality of the AC coupled option, not to mention the wastage and environmental impact involving disposal of the existing high quality and perfectly good panels to go to DC coupled battery.

Perfect went line clockwork
A 16kWh SigEnergy battery was added to my existing roof top SolarInstallation were the same crew who installed the solar system.
From the first discussion to final commissioning Empower and team were on top of everything.

Empower Solar a company that had the knowledge and skill to design a system to meet my needs perfectly.
The sales rep was very helpful. I explained my needs as I wanted full 3 phase backup. His design was excellent.Installation was on time, tidy and was very quick with a team of young men that worked with care.
