Incredible customer service and knowledge of product best suited for me!
As an existing customer from 5 years ago, I was very happy with my existing set up. An opportunity came up for me to increase my solar inverter / battery. Upgraded to Goodwe ESA 9.9999KW Inverter and 32KW Battery all in one unit.Can't thank Paul enough....fantastic customer service, and as an existing customer really looked after me. Also the guys installing the system were fantastic, very professional and friendly. They turned up on time, for an early start!

High Quality and Great Customer Service from start to finish.
We had a great experience with Green Solar replacing and upgrading our 14-year-old solar system with a 3 times larger PV array and adding a battery with full home backup and EV charger as well.Paul emailed and called me the same day we submitted a quote request. He was informative and communicative the whole way through from quote to post installation.
All our questions were answered and good consistent advice given.
There were a few issues along the way including the recall for the Sigenergy Single Phase ECs and Green Solar kept us informed and ensured that we were not disadvantaged by the unavoidable delay.
The installation team were great and got the system up and working quickly, tidily and with no problems especially as it was a very hot and sunny day. Some minor revisions to the installation plan were explained in advance and our consent sought.
We have had the system in place for 6 weeks and are very happy. Evening and overnight grid consumption is now zero and we have had minimal draw from the grid only during a series of overcast and raining days. Otherwise, we're solar powered including charging our EV off excess PV. Plus, we've already avoided 2 power cuts with no side effects or need to do anything.

Top Quality, Easy Process, Excellent Customer Service
I basically knew nothing about solar and was pretty skeptical. Paul was super informative with the quoting process but also was happy to wait for us to complete our own research so that we were 100% comfortable before proceeding. Honest, experienced installer
Highly recommend Green Solar, the process from sale to installation was low stress. Joel took time to talk us through options suitable for our situation, there were no hard sell tactics. The installation by Paul and his merry men was a delight. They were punctual, experienced, friendly, the place was left clean and tidy, and Paul took the time to show me through how everything worked.Panel rating: 5/5

Solar and battery system installation
Hi. If your reading this your obviously looking at putting a system in.I got several quotes and researched the systems on offer. Green Solar was our choice of Companies with good reviews and pricing structure.

Old Install still working great
Everything dealing with this company has been great. i had an issue last year, and it wasn't caused by the solar install. But Paul was more than happy to come out and assist at no charge and provide a letter of investigation which helped with my electricity provider. Amazing experience
Amazing experience from start to finish.Paul was (and still is!) responsive to every question I have. The installers - Reece, Joey and the crew were on time, polite, really tidy and always ready to help.

Paul and Green Solar were fantastic to deal with. He contacted me the day after we submitted a quote request and was informative and communicative the whole way through. Quick and Painless
Took multiple solar quotes and Green solar stood out with both an in-house installation team and Brian who I talked to giving a heap of great solar information so we could be confident in the brands we chose. Turn around was super quick and the crew did a great job. Also wasn't any more expensive than the other quotes we got from companies that are just acting as middlemen.01 July 2025
Back to "free" power
My existing system finally died after almost 15 years - TC Alfred didn't help the process. I found Green Solar via my energy supplier's website - prompt and helpful responses, they worked around my timetable (I work from home on a Monday) for both inspection of the old system and for the replacement - I had done some background research on what a likely replacement cost would be - Green Solar's quote came in pretty much where I had thought it would land.The installers turned up exactly on time and worked in persistent rain/drizzle to remove the old panels - not fun on a slippery iron roof. The guys were polite, cheerful and clearly enjoy working as a team, gave me plenty of notice when the mains power would need to go off, linked up the inverter to wifi and gave me all the details for accessing the app. Cleaned up after themselves and then left - just as the sun started shining - so those panels were working straight away.
The follow-up communication has been equally as good - invoice received, paid and payment acknowledged. I received email confirmation of the app log in details and I've not had to worry about anything. They have dealt with my energy supplier and sorted the rebates - seamless, painless - absolutely earning those 5 stars.
