Installation was good, easy going, showed up on time! Seemed to do a good job.

Showed us how to use everything, there is a problem with the app and Sam the guy who was installing really tried to fix it, but couldn’t. Still not working properly but the installation guy really tried to fix it.

Brightworks Solar was very responsive with their quoting and was very helpful with exploring various sizing options that suits our roof and situation, and Alexandra was more than happy to amend our quote as we continue to weigh up different options. For a piece of mind Anthony came out and measure up the roof to ensure what was proposed would actually work and even offered up a couple of changes to avoid shading and make the solar system go that extra mile. The communication was great and installation crew came and gone without a hitch, the site was left tidy and the system was up and running in no time. I was shown how the system and smart meter app worked, Brightworks sorted out all the paper worked digitally and seamlessly solar is now part of our lives.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the solar battery purchase process and the overall customer service experience provided by the team. Despite the commendable work of Mohammed and Khalid during the installation, the numerous issues I encountered have marred my entire experience.

1. Pushy Sales Tactics and Misleading Quotation: Pushy demeanor during the sales process and the subsequent discovery of additional costs not transparently communicated in the initial quotation were deeply frustrating. This, coupled with his insistence on an impractical installation location despite space limitations, contributed to a negative start.

2. Lack of Responsiveness and Attention to Detail: The lack of effort and attention to my inquiries and loan application after the deposit was placed further heightened my frustration. The failure to provide a quote promptly (took 4 months!) for the Solar Victoria interest-free loan leading to it being too late for the loan to be approved raised concerns about the overall competence and professionalism of your customer service.

3. Failure to Follow Contract Terms: Despite my request for a late December installation and the subsequent proposal of a refund due to a perceived breach of contract, the refusal by your team was disappointing. The suggestion that a second battery would expedite the process seemed more like a tactic to upsell rather than a genuine effort to meet my needs.

4. Inaccurate Information and Loss of Benefits: Misinformation about the Simply Energy promotion expiry and the subsequent loss of benefits due to the delayed installation in January 2024 were unacceptable. This lack of clarity and inaccurate communication significantly impacted my overall satisfaction.

5. Last-Minute Installation Confirmation: The last-minute confirmation of the installation date, less than a week before the scheduled date, added unnecessary stress and uncertainty to an already frustrating experience.

In summary, the level of service provided by sales and the overall handling of this installation process has been extremely disappointing. I urge your company to thoroughly review its customer service practices to prevent future customers from facing similar challenges.

From the quoting process to installation, Advanced Energy Management have been a pleasure to deal with. Mathew provided me with many quotes and was very helpful in answering all of my questions. After obtaining several other quotes from other installers, we settled on Advanced Energy Management due to their complete package and competitive pricing.

Herman was prompt in organsing our installation date. We only had to wait a week to have our system installed. Again, fantastic service.

We had Chandler and Jack come to do our install. The install took two days to complete, and the boys were very professional, polite, and punctual. They kept us up to date every step of the way.

Advanced Energy Management had even coordinated the compulsory final inspection of the system on the same day as the install date so we could be exporting electricity as soon as the installation was complete. Usually this process can take up to a couple of weeks!

Kelly and Charlene from the office were also extremely helpful in settling our account.

The system so far seems to be performing as described, and we are off the grid for the majority of the day.

I have absolutely no hesitations in recommending AEM for your solar install!
