Supervisor (Dillon) was skilled at finding a panel layout that avoided shadows from trees. Keep me informed of progress during the day and did not rush the explanation of the system operation at the end of the day.
Neat and tidy installation of panels and inverter.
Also upgraded my switchboard.
PBR are managing the grid connection inspection and power export with the distributor (United Energy).
I have found PBR Solar to be a competent, honest and customer focussed rooftop solar system supply & installation company.

The sales quoting process was great, Alex in the office is a dream to deal with. I asked all my quotes (3 of) to come to my house and see the installation and have a chat before I accept the quote. Only Brightworks came out to see me. This gave me the confidence to go ahead with them.

The team of sparkies on the install day were great, polite and very professional. The installation workmanship was spot on. Andrew ran me through the charger and batteries on the day. He also let me know to call him if i had and issues afterwards.

I have dealt with Linked Solar before, and obtained a quote after I was not completely happy with the 3 suppliers recommended by Solar Quotes. Lightning Solar was very helpful and provided a lot of answers to my questions.
Linked Solar installed a 6.6 KW solar panel system on my house a couple of years ago and I was very impressed by their quality of work and professional attitude to business. At the time I did not think a battery was right for me and Linked Solar agreed. However, with the battery rebate, and my lack of confidence in the ability of governments to manage the transition to renewables, I thought the time was right.
Linked Solar were able to give me a very good price, did not require a substantial deposit, and have promised to install the battery in August, and a site review early in July.

-Sales and Support were super-responsive over email and phone
-System seems to be working well a month after installation (eg. sustained periods at the 10kW inverter limit)
-They told me they've been using the same sub-contractors for installation for many years. They were professional and very quick.

Very minor negatives:
-There was a small amount of rubbish left on site eg. a couple of bolts and mounting brackets dropped from the roof on the ground at the side of the house, a couple of scraps of electrical tape left in the roof gutters, a few tile clips displaced, and they left one of the adhesive safety signs lying in the gutter- I stuck it on the solar array later. The holes they drilled into the brickwork for the inverter cables were too big, I filled the gaps afterwards. Mounting frames were too long, extending well beyond where the array was. There was an attempt to cut the end off one frame, but it looks like they gave up before they cut all the way through. They drilled the electrical safety sign into our man hole ceiling cover, but the screws were too long so they now protrude through the cover. The lead electrician was very business-like, maybe a touch unfriendly as I felt he just wanted to get the job done and move on.
-Follow-up was where they slipped a bit, but this may have been because it was over Dec/Jan holiday period
-> It wasn't made clear to me what needed to be done after the physical installation.
-> Electrical inspection is officially supposed to happen within 8 days of installation, but this didn't happen till I did my own research to discover this, after which I had to chase them up.
-> Meter needed to be configured for Grid Feed-In. It took a while for them to start this process.
-> Solar generation was initially only below 1kW. After a firmware update of the inverter, it started to work, but I had to
figure out for myself how to do this.
