Very happy with my new Sigenergy battery installed by PSW

This is the 3rd time I've used PSW over the years and they never disappoint. As usual they gave the most competitive quote, great customer service with skilled install team and quality products.
My new 16kw SigenStor system with Gateway has been working like a dream for 3 weeks now and doing everything it should. No more power bills for this household. Even had our first blackout over the weekend, well we didn't (thanks to the Gateway) but our neighbours did!

Everything went smoothly, even during bad weather

The quoting process went smoothly even though PSW was very busy due to the announcement of battery rebates. As the rebate situation developed PSW were good at communicating the changes. The install team (from Bolton EC) were polite and punctual and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time even through some rainy days.

Fantastic from start to finish

The team at PSW were a pleasure to deal with. They talked in detail through the various options available and provided quotes on multiple systems to help us make a decision. Once we had made a decision they were quick to schedule the install and kept in regular contact throughout. The installation team were punctual and answered any questions we had. The team also followed up and made us aware of their ongoing support. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and after-sales support. Highly recommended.

We recently had a 13.2kW solar system installed by PSW Energy with a Fronius inverter, and the entire experience has been excellent. The installation was completed to a high standard, and the system has been performing exactly as expected. We initially had a minor warranty issue, but it was resolved promptly and professionally by Dave in the technical department — his support was outstanding. Highly recommend PSW Energy for their quality products, service, and after-sales support.

Customer service is so-so

Initially got a quote (and booked installation) for an Alpha Gen2 13.3kWh battery installed for $8990. WA rebate was to be $5000. Out of pocket $3990.

Fast forward a couple of months, WA changed their rebate to $1300, but Federal Govt was also providing a rebate.

2 weeks before install, their admin team sent a reminder of the install, what is to be installed, an invoice for the total amount (no rebate deducted) and a statement saying I had to pay it on the day on installation otherwise the battery wouldn't be activated.

I reached out to PSW as I was under the impression the installer handled the rebate and it should come off the invoice total, plus there was no mention of the rebate changes or VPP for WA. Sales got back to me within a few hours, advising of the updated rebates, but also that the initial battery we had ordered was no longer available - huh? I just received an invoice stating I was being charged for it. How would this have played out if I never reached out asking about the rebate? They did say that if I wanted, I could get a "complementary upgrade" at "no additional cost" to a newer generation 15kWh battery - newer and larger upgrade for free!

Turns out "complementary upgrade" at "no additional cost" is actually the cost increasing by $630; going from $8990 to $9620. But I guess in their eyes, as the rebate increased by $1620 ($1300 + $5320 vs $5000) due to a larger battery, there is no cost increase. Sure, my out of pocket hasn't increased, but the lure of a free upgrade at no cost increase, when there is a cost increase, just isn't right. Just say, "a newer battery with larger capacity will cost more, but you'll get more rebate back, so you won't be out of pocket any extra". Perhaps I'm being a little too pedantic on terminology? But words have meaning and the contracts they have you sign are very strict on the terminology used.

My interactions with the company to date have been with sales staff and admin staff. Apart from the terminology/lures mentioned, the interactions with sales staff have been great. They were really prompt in getting back to me when I had questions.

The admin staff, not so much. The first email they sent mentioned to reply if there were questions, but they never replied to questions; along with sending an invoice for a product they no longer had + failing to include rebates they are meant to administer...just felt lacking with the proficiency side of things. I had to do the prompting for rebate and VPP info, and then it was sales staff who answered. I would expect the admin staff to be all over those aspects of the business and be proactive with sharing information on it; some customers may not even beware of what questions to ask, but sadly the proactiveness is lacking.

If you're not picky about those types of things, then you shouldn't have any problems.

You're absolutely right, clear and consistent language is important, and we take your point on how the phrasing around the "complimentary upgrade" could have been better clarified.

A large part of the last-minute changes were unfortunately out of our control due to evolving compliance requirements and updates to rebate frameworks, particularly with the transition between WA and Federal rebate programs. These changes were complex and happened fast, requiring real-time adjustments across multiple departments.

That said, we do apologise that you had to chase up key information, and we acknowledge that our internal communication, especially from admin fell short of the mark. We’ve passed your feedback to the relevant team leads to help improve our processes, especially around being more proactive with updates.

Great standard residential solar system installation with minimal fuss at a competitive price point

PSW installed a standard residential single phase solar system at my house.

PSW did what they said they would, installed a high quality solar system in a timely manner with minimal disruption and at a competitive price point.

The system have been running well since installation though PSW sent through all the documentation/warranty information without prompting just incase there're are any issues.

Very happy customer

I sort multiple quotes based on recommendations from SolarQuotes & I ended up with PSW Energy.

They offered a very competitive quote, but what I liked best about their quoting system was the ability to select other options and see what these would cost. My sales representative Tony was very great & was able to provide clear explanation for all my questions, however what I was happiest about was that when sending the quote through it wasn't the most expensive option, but was the option best suited to my needs. Tony was able to explain to explain the positives and negatives of other options & discouraged paying for more expensive components that weren't needed. However, as I am getting battery ready, I went for the Sigenergy inverter as this would be suit my future plans.

Installation was booked in within two weeks. The team was very polite and extremely efficient. The results look great and the install was as per the agreed design.

The over all customer experience has been great. They arranged all be grid connections needs and lodged all the correct applications with Synergy & Western Power for a seamless experience. After install I was shown how to connect to the app and view my energy usage. 100% recommend.

PSW - Great Service

Had a bit of trouble finalising the quote as they were so busy with the battery rebates but once everything was finalised, my system was installed a few days later.

Very easy to deal with, the installers did a great job and ran me through everything. Very competitive pricing and no corners were cut. $5k for 6.6kW system Jinko satin black panels, Fronius Gen 24 Primo 5kW inverter and a Fronius consumption meter.

Great communication, excellent install quality

I have an electrical background myself and am particular about ensuring this type of work is done to a high standard. The team did a fantastic job, were very easy to deal with communicated with me throughout the whole process both leading up to the install and during the install.

I have my own home automation and monitoring systems and the guys were happy to take the extra time to answer the additional questions I had around how I could best integrate into my existing systems.

Great all round company from quotes, questions, service, installation and price.

The quotes came through very quickly, you could ask any questions to find what was best and suitable for your house.
Thanks Fraser for your patience and experience and explanation. The 6.6kw perfect.
The black Jinko solar panels and black aluminum tracks look fantastic and blend in nicely with the black roof.
The installation crew with Tyler and the boy's arrived promptly on time , the installation was in Bunbury and they travelled from Perth exactly at 0700 arrival as was expected. Great communication by Tyler and he gave us a thorough explanation of the system. Removed all waste and were finished in 4 hours. After service was excellent with follow-up calls explaining all aspect’s of the system .
The price was very competitive after shopping around and noted they had great reviews, certainly the case .
A great experience and looks fantastic and more importantly saving us money.

A pleasant experience

From our first contact, to the finished product we had nothing but a pleasant experience.
The staff were very professional and understanding, particularly with my lack of knowledge. They were patient and answered my questions clearly. They organised the full process, communicating with us every step of the way, leaving nothing for us to do but sit back. The panels and inverter were installed within a week of our first contact.
The installers were on time, got on with the job and left the workplace spotless.
We can not recomend this company, their staff, the installers and their service high enough, and all at a great price..

Simple, fast, value

Very easy to deal with. Good communication via email. Used a subcontractor for installation but they were on time, appear to have done good work. Cheaper than other companies in Perth but with good warranty. Helpful with offering different options.

Very satisfied

PSW LifeSupport service also excellent

At the time of installation, in October 2023, I was impressed with the end-to-end Perth Solar Warehouse involvement and left a well-earned 5* review on Google, once I had moved back into what was a rental property at the time of installation and satisfied myself that all was working as promised/anticipated.

On Thursday (18 months after installation) I noticed a drop to near-zero solar production (which wasn't an Emergency Solar Management event). This persisted on very sunny days over the weekend. I dropped an email note to PSW Life Support team with details on the Friday and updated Sunday. David Bishop (PSW Customer Service Specialist) called me back just before official opening time on Monday morning and helpfully worked through the problem, checking my system remotely. It required that Goodwe become involved and David did the necessary. Impressively, Goodwe responded to David within minutes, updating and resetting the inverter remotely. Power generation immediately returned to usual levels for the time of day.

Thanks to PSW, David and the Goodwe CSR for their very prompt support. I have no hesitation recommending PSW for solar installations and will be engaging them to add a battery to my system.

Seamless Solar Experience – Professional, Friendly, and Efficient from Start to Finish

The sales and quoting process was clear and transparent. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I felt confident I was getting the right system for my needs, no pressure, just honest advice.

The installation team was fantastic, punctual, polite, and professional. They worked efficiently, left everything tidy, and took great care while on site. It was obvious they took pride in their work, which really gave me peace of mind.

Great price, Great service.

The quote was fast, well priced and fixed. The process from there was extremely professional and covers every step
from start to finish and beyond. The install date was set, they turned up on time even traveling to Bunbury.
Everyone from PSW were friendly and helpful, especially the installers.
They sorted out the power connection and gave us a driving lesson when finished.

Totally satisfied customer

I rang 4 different solar companies regarding my solar inverter problem & only PSW Energy explained the process of fault finding & choices of inverters if required thoroughly to me. Once agreed to, date booked in, job completed, new inverter required & the follow up customer service has been awesome. I believe I saved over $300 not paying for an electrician to tell me the inverter needed replacing & then pay again for inverter & installation.

They gave us exact panels inverter we requested, price and advice..

They never hit us with junk mail to convince us but gave the exact prices and guarantees. Punctual and polite and even pointed out broken tiles and replaced them without extra charge. We just paid money and they did everything and after months passed they still monitored our system and informed the short comings.

Hassle free process and great customer service

I recently had solar panels installed by JSW, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire process. From start to finish, everything was quick and easy. They presented several good options, and the pricing was very competitive compared to other companies I looked into.
The contractors from Bolton EC were great, they slogged out the installation on a very hot 37 degree day with no complaints and showed me how to use the app and explained the system thoroughly.

I had a small technical issue with a setting after installation, but after emailing JSW, I received a call the very next morning and the issue was resolved right away. The panels are now working great, and I'm already seeing the savings on my energy bills.
The process was very quick, less than a week and completely hassle free.
I Highly recommend JSW for anyone looking to make the switch to solar!

Great company, hassle free install

PSW were great from the get-go, lots of information during the quotation process, able to customise the system and layout as I wanted. A thorough site visit was made and we were able to work through the proposed installation with a complex roof.

The installation team were great and professional and left everything nice and clean.

The system has worked great so far and I'm even thinking of adding an additional battery now.

Solar Installer that lives to standard!

PSW was really easy and straightforward from inquiry to post installation.

Derek (owner) was the one giving me all the details and quote and everything went smooth from there.

I like how the installer explained the installation process during the date of installation and the quality of installation was really on point.

Post installation was also smooth as they have these dashboard where you can see the process and all the details is there

Highly recommend their service and installer

I ended up with PSW after 10 different quotes from different companies such as cheap ones and the famous ones. I saw many good reviews from PSW but still did my research. They have been professional from day one and gave me the best quote with a variety of options none of the other competitors in the market could do. If you have no time do to your own research I believe they are the top solar company in Perth and WA so you can leave your job with them. They won't sell you their stuff like some others and are not pushy as some cheap companies. I highly recommend their service and also post installation support.

Fantastic Service ?

PSW Energy were fantastic. Everything was so easy to organise from the first phone. All I needed to do was pick what panels and inverter I wanted and everything was done in less then 10 mins, plus installation was organised there and then.
Installation was was also effortless all up and done in 3hrs.
