Efficient and Professional

Sales and quoting was top notch. Responses were prompt and the sales rep was very knowledgeable. The online quoting and acceptance service was very good to use.
They organised all the paperwork and rebates for me and answered any questions I had during this stage very quickly.
Date of installation was set at the beginning and no delays were experienced.
The installation was long, loud and disturbed my cat, but that was to be expected for a full Solar panel replacement plus battery installation. Overall the installation team did a good job and I have no complaints.
To sum up the whole experience, I would say that PSW provided excellent service and it really shows that they've been in the business a long time and know how to do a good job.

Repeating customer - used again for battery -

The current climate with battery initiative saw my multiple sales quotes from multiple vendors services stretched by demand, but the questions i asked got answered quickly. The paper work trail was exceptional with PSW put no pressure on me to sign up. other suppliers where giving huge a sense of urgency for what where large install lead times. PSW ended up coming in much more economical on a battery quote, soonest for install and sharp online quoting system - as i had an amazing install with the panels previous , i decided to keep in one place. I picked PSW on google reviews and then refined a system.

Price was right, nothing wrong with my install. The customer service is ABYSMAL.

Initial solar install:
I contacted them telling them exactly what system I wanted. They took a while to respond. I said "Yes, install". They took 2 weeks to get back to me and ask for confirmation, resulting in my install being in the new calendar year and therefore decreased rebates. They sent me the wrong invoice/contract the first time and I had to chase them up to ensure I was getting the right system installed. Even after 'fixing' the contract still stated different items to what I actually got (and wanted) installed.

Battery install:
This is where their customer service has been absolutely appalling. I asked for a new customer service rep from the first time. I can't even remember all the issues... They've been on holiday, then sick, then just not responding. At no point was I informed. I've asked questions that have been left with no reply for months. I chase up every other month to get crickets. I've contacted their main office who has supposedly "gone downstairs and spoken to him just now" and still nothing. My questions are unanswered. And my install has once again been pushed out until the new calendar year.

I contacted them the minute battery rebates were confirmed to be occurring. I was initially booked for 1st July as I was so fast in. I said I wanted to go the "interest free loan" route, and so they moved me back to allow time for that. And back again. And back again. And Oh dear there's no batteries in stock, you're now 6th of January.

I've now spent the last 2 weeks sending my rep "is this still the best option?" followed by "heeeellllo?" "Heeeeeeelllllooooo" to no reply.

Don't use this place if you have any questions, and/or aren't willing to be constantly and aggressively pursuing them to get things done.

Professional service and reliable knowledge

Our solar panels and battery were installed a few years ago. We chose PSW because they provide the complete package - knowledge, competitive prices, professionalism and peace of mind service. I think the fact they have their own team installing the systems is what makes them stand apart from some others. They even alerted me to the fact we’d need approval to install the panels on our heritage listed home . Great service and advice in all matters relating to solar panels and batteries. I would not go anywhere else.

Professional installation by PSW Perth WA

Perth Solar Warehouse (PSW) has offerred me a good price on my energy system (6.6kw panels plus a powerwall3 with backup gateway) and handled all applications on my behalf in a timely manner. On install day, a large team of friendly (PSW employed) technicians turned up on time, split their work and installed the whole system in a well coordinated and efficient manner.

After the initial installation, they promptly returned on site to address and fix a (optional) communication cable.

Overall, I am impressed with the product and service quality that PSW has offered me and I would highly recommend them to any other customers.

Quick responsive polite!

We moved into a location that has previously been installed panels by PSW. David and Penni assisted in the transfer of the setup. They were extremely helpful and patient with us. It wasn’t a straight forward setup, however Penni answered very call and persisted. The qualities of a fantastic employee! I recommend these guys!

Very happy with my new Sigenergy battery installed by PSW

This is the 3rd time I've used PSW over the years and they never disappoint. As usual they gave the most competitive quote, great customer service with skilled install team and quality products.
My new 16kw SigenStor system with Gateway has been working like a dream for 3 weeks now and doing everything it should. No more power bills for this household. Even had our first blackout over the weekend, well we didn't (thanks to the Gateway) but our neighbours did!

Everything went smoothly, even during bad weather

The quoting process went smoothly even though PSW was very busy due to the announcement of battery rebates. As the rebate situation developed PSW were good at communicating the changes. The install team (from Bolton EC) were polite and punctual and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time even through some rainy days.

We recently had a 13.2kW solar system installed by PSW Energy with a Fronius inverter, and the entire experience has been excellent. The installation was completed to a high standard, and the system has been performing exactly as expected. We initially had a minor warranty issue, but it was resolved promptly and professionally by Dave in the technical department — his support was outstanding. Highly recommend PSW Energy for their quality products, service, and after-sales support.

Customer service is so-so

Initially got a quote (and booked installation) for an Alpha Gen2 13.3kWh battery installed for $8990. WA rebate was to be $5000. Out of pocket $3990.

Fast forward a couple of months, WA changed their rebate to $1300, but Federal Govt was also providing a rebate.

2 weeks before install, their admin team sent a reminder of the install, what is to be installed, an invoice for the total amount (no rebate deducted) and a statement saying I had to pay it on the day on installation otherwise the battery wouldn't be activated.

I reached out to PSW as I was under the impression the installer handled the rebate and it should come off the invoice total, plus there was no mention of the rebate changes or VPP for WA. Sales got back to me within a few hours, advising of the updated rebates, but also that the initial battery we had ordered was no longer available - huh? I just received an invoice stating I was being charged for it. How would this have played out if I never reached out asking about the rebate? They did say that if I wanted, I could get a "complementary upgrade" at "no additional cost" to a newer generation 15kWh battery - newer and larger upgrade for free!

Turns out "complementary upgrade" at "no additional cost" is actually the cost increasing by $630; going from $8990 to $9620. But I guess in their eyes, as the rebate increased by $1620 ($1300 + $5320 vs $5000) due to a larger battery, there is no cost increase. Sure, my out of pocket hasn't increased, but the lure of a free upgrade at no cost increase, when there is a cost increase, just isn't right. Just say, "a newer battery with larger capacity will cost more, but you'll get more rebate back, so you won't be out of pocket any extra". Perhaps I'm being a little too pedantic on terminology? But words have meaning and the contracts they have you sign are very strict on the terminology used.

My interactions with the company to date have been with sales staff and admin staff. Apart from the terminology/lures mentioned, the interactions with sales staff have been great. They were really prompt in getting back to me when I had questions.

The admin staff, not so much. The first email they sent mentioned to reply if there were questions, but they never replied to questions; along with sending an invoice for a product they no longer had + failing to include rebates they are meant to administer...just felt lacking with the proficiency side of things. I had to do the prompting for rebate and VPP info, and then it was sales staff who answered. I would expect the admin staff to be all over those aspects of the business and be proactive with sharing information on it; some customers may not even beware of what questions to ask, but sadly the proactiveness is lacking.

If you're not picky about those types of things, then you shouldn't have any problems.

A large part of the last-minute changes were unfortunately out of our control due to evolving compliance requirements and updates to rebate frameworks, particularly with the transition between WA and Federal rebate programs. These changes were complex and happened fast, requiring real-time adjustments across multiple departments.

That said, we do apologise that you had to chase up key information, and we acknowledge that our internal communication, especially from admin fell short of the mark. We’ve passed your feedback to the relevant team leads to help improve our processes, especially around being more proactive with updates.

Great standard residential solar system installation with minimal fuss at a competitive price point

PSW installed a standard residential single phase solar system at my house.

PSW did what they said they would, installed a high quality solar system in a timely manner with minimal disruption and at a competitive price point.

The system have been running well since installation though PSW sent through all the documentation/warranty information without prompting just incase there're are any issues.

Best Installer that I have experienced!

I recently had a solar battery system installed at my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the overall experience. From the initial consultation to the final setup and testing, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and efficient.

Pre-Installation Support:

Very happy customer

Hi after years of solar salesman coming to our house to do energy assessment s we got a quote from PSW and never looked back. Great value for money the options to choose the level of product I want , great communication through out the process, quality install done in less than 2 weeks from acceptance of the quote. Very happy customer

I sort multiple quotes based on recommendations from SolarQuotes & I ended up with PSW Energy.

They offered a very competitive quote, but what I liked best about their quoting system was the ability to select other options and see what these would cost. My sales representative Tony was very great & was able to provide clear explanation for all my questions, however what I was happiest about was that when sending the quote through it wasn't the most expensive option, but was the option best suited to my needs. Tony was able to explain to explain the positives and negatives of other options & discouraged paying for more expensive components that weren't needed. However, as I am getting battery ready, I went for the Sigenergy inverter as this would be suit my future plans.

Installation was booked in within two weeks. The team was very polite and extremely efficient. The results look great and the install was as per the agreed design.

The over all customer experience has been great. They arranged all be grid connections needs and lodged all the correct applications with Synergy & Western Power for a seamless experience. After install I was shown how to connect to the app and view my energy usage. 100% recommend.

PSW - Great Service

Had a bit of trouble finalising the quote as they were so busy with the battery rebates but once everything was finalised, my system was installed a few days later.

Very easy to deal with, the installers did a great job and ran me through everything. Very competitive pricing and no corners were cut. $5k for 6.6kW system Jinko satin black panels, Fronius Gen 24 Primo 5kW inverter and a Fronius consumption meter.

Great communication, excellent install quality

I have an electrical background myself and am particular about ensuring this type of work is done to a high standard. The team did a fantastic job, were very easy to deal with communicated with me throughout the whole process both leading up to the install and during the install.

I have my own home automation and monitoring systems and the guys were happy to take the extra time to answer the additional questions I had around how I could best integrate into my existing systems.

Excellent Experience with PSW

Our experience with PSW was excellent from obtaining a quote to the installation. Everyone was very polite, punctal with both reply emails and the actual installation.

Customer Service was extremely good from start to finish.

Great all round company from quotes, questions, service, installation and price.

The quotes came through very quickly, you could ask any questions to find what was best and suitable for your house.
Thanks Fraser for your patience and experience and explanation. The 6.6kw perfect.
The black Jinko solar panels and black aluminum tracks look fantastic and blend in nicely with the black roof.
The installation crew with Tyler and the boy's arrived promptly on time , the installation was in Bunbury and they travelled from Perth exactly at 0700 arrival as was expected. Great communication by Tyler and he gave us a thorough explanation of the system. Removed all waste and were finished in 4 hours. After service was excellent with follow-up calls explaining all aspect’s of the system .
The price was very competitive after shopping around and noted they had great reviews, certainly the case .
A great experience and looks fantastic and more importantly saving us money.

A pleasant experience

From our first contact, to the finished product we had nothing but a pleasant experience.
The staff were very professional and understanding, particularly with my lack of knowledge. They were patient and answered my questions clearly. They organised the full process, communicating with us every step of the way, leaving nothing for us to do but sit back. The panels and inverter were installed within a week of our first contact.
The installers were on time, got on with the job and left the workplace spotless.
We can not recomend this company, their staff, the installers and their service high enough, and all at a great price..

PSW installation was a easy process beginning to end, mainly online just a couple of quick calls, any questions answered same day even over weekends

process was easy and quick i had already do some comparisons therefore could tell that their quote was good value for the system, day of connection was easy has hassle free, i would recommend them to anyone
