Adelaide's Solaworx began installing residential and small commercial solar power systems in 2010 and also supplies and installs battery systems.

Professional and competitive
Overall: A smooth and positive experience from start to finish. Solaworx were professional, competitive, and easy to deal with. I’d happily recommend them.Sales / Quoting Process:
Mark’s initial email was packed with genuinely useful, relevant information, which made it much easier to make an informed decision. From the outset, he provided quotes for three different system sizes; an approach I found particularly helpful in understanding cost versus capability and comparing my options clearly.
He was patient and never pushy (a refreshing contrast to some other companies I dealt with). He was very responsive and was always approachable, helpful, and easy to deal with. He took the time to talk through the nuances of system sizing and was happy to refine and iterate on the quote as my requirements evolved. Of the several quotes I obtained, his was also the most competitive for the popular Sigenergy system.
Installation:
Jesse arrived early and was ready to start on schedule. He was polite, professional, and easy to deal with throughout the installation. He also helped me to clear the work area beforehand without any fuss.
The installation was completed to a high standard, neat, tidy, and well-executed. Both the work area and yard were left clean and orderly on completion.
Customer Service:
After installation, Jesse configured the system, connected it to Wi-Fi, and took the time to walk me through its operation and the app. He and his colleague also installed an isolator in preparation for the smart meter upgrade and removed my old inverter, which was a helpful inclusion.

Great advice and installation with good value
Solaworx provided great advice during the quoting period, and provided several options.Compared to other installers he also considered the bigger picture by assessing my existing solar and battery setup and made good value recommendations.
The quoted value was far superior compared to other providers as well.
His electricians spent the whole day installing and cleaned up after themselves.

Fabulous!!! Soo happy we went with Solaworx
Mark and his team were brilliant. His personal and professional up front consultation gave my wife and I confidence we got the right system....and we did! Now almost 2 months since a grade A installation, we've yet to get an amp from the grid. And that's running AC 24/7 during the hot weeks AND charging our EV car. In fact, because of the new battery, we traded our 2nd vehicle for a EV, and our pups love it!!! I'd recommend Solaworx with Mark and his team to anyone!Battery rating: 5/5

Excellent company/installer recommended by Origin
Professional, given 3 quotes decided on 32kw with 15 kw inverter Sigen BatteryPrompt with quotes, knowledgeable and installed within timeframe stated.
Installation crew were very efficient downloading apps onto our phones and providing us with information about the system and how it works. An electrical certificate of compliancy was sent in a timely manner. .
I am comfortable that any after service will also be excellent.

Amazing service, friendly and an amazing system to match
I had been talking with Mark- the owner of Solaworx, since earlier in the year, the experience has been excellent from start to finish. Marks communication has been fantastic, and I’ve received nothing but patience, kindness, and genuine help throughout the process, no question felt silly and if I had any concerns Mark put my mind straight at ease (for context I'm a massive worrywart)I recently got a 16kW Sigenergy battery installed, and I couldn’t be happier. The process of organising the battery was great, Mark helped me choose a battery suitable for my situation without overselling, at a great price.
After just one month, my electricity costs have dropped to only a few dollars, when normally the bill would have been well over $100. It’s been so exciting to see the savings in real time, we check the app often, it's really fun to watch how the battery works ?. We didn't have to set up the app, everything was done for us and thats made everything so easy!
What really stood out with this whole battery process again, is how friendly and approachable Mark is. He made me feel completely comfortable from day one and delivered on every promise. After not always having the best luck with tradespeople and business' in the past, this experienced has helped restore some faith. It honestly feels like I’ve gained a friend through the process, which is rare and really refreshing.
The installers left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived, which was fabulous- the electrician found past damage to my exsisting solar panels and helped by taking photos and assisting me with the next steps- e.g. how I contact my previous installers to have this fixed- this made a stressful situation not so stressful.
Mark and the team at Solaworx have been absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future

Straight up service
Mark provided prompt efficient down to earth service with out all the fluff and rubbish. He was great to deal with , pricing was fair. His installers also did an excellent job and left a professional job that was well installed and left our premises spotless.Inverter rating: 5/5

Very knowledgeable visit and quote.
After an initial delay because Mark was overseas, he visited and ended up quoting on a system that will satisfy all my requirements.Installation is delayed until December because of volume of business, so I can’t comment on installation or commissioning yet.

Thank Greg. Btw for the readers here who may be slightly confused by the pricing vs the system size here is a clarification. Greg has a pre existing SolarEdge 5kW system. His property is three phase supply. We are installing a 15kW Sig Energy SigenStor 3P inverter and 32kWh of batteries along with blackout protection and associated items. It will be a great installation when completed next month.16 October 2025

Great quoting and installation service
I used Solar quotes to get my home battery quote and what Solaworx did to win my order was doing a home visit and walking me through the process from start to finish. Mark was excellent, took the time to answer all of my questions in person or via email or phone. The installation crew were awesome, they were very accommodating when trying to find the best way to install the 20m ethernet cable from garage through the roof space and down an interior wall to the modem at the rear of the house. Install was very clean and before they left they walked me through powering down the system, the Sigen app and they tested the whole home battery backup, which was basically instantaneous. Overall Solaworx was very easy to work with and Mark and his install crew were great.Battery rating: 5/5

Great at sales - not so great with post sales service
My Enphase PV system and Tesla Powerwall 2 battery was sold to me by Solarworx and installed by Thoroughtec around 2020. An initial 9.6kW PV system was installed followed shortly after that by a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery. Additional panels were installed in 2022 to bring PV system up to 14.4kW- Installation by Adrian at Thoroughtec was professional and I can't fault the installation.
- before the system was installed Solarworx requested that I put up a review of the installation before it had actually been done. It seemed like a strange request at the time but in good faith I did so. That review has since been taken down at my request.
- During a prolonged outage my system went fully offline. I had been led to believe that the system was configured to charge the battery from one third of the PV panels during a grid outage. Upon inquiry to Solarworx they told me that Tesla systems had been shut down by Tesla on orders from SAPN. While servicing the system at a later date the technician informed me that the battery didn't charge during the blackout because the system hadn't been configured to do so.
- During installation of the Tesla battery two CT sensors were removed from the Enphase system and went missing. Inquiries to SolaWorx as to the whereabouts of the missing CTs (I paid for them) were met with evasive answers. During one phone call with the director they assured me that they had the CTs sitting on the car seat next to them as we spoke and they'd be delivered that day. They never turned up. I eventually received 2 CTs in the mail after several emails and texts.
- During the adding of the additional panels mapping of the extra panels on to the Enphase system was not done. I never got a straight answer from either Solaworx or installer as to why this hadn't been done. After several requests to Solaworx to get the mapping done I approached the installer directly and they eventually mapped the panels.
- In late 2023 a repeatedly tripping battery isolation circuit breaker was traced to a melted battery AC harness connector. I paid a service person to trouble shoot the problem after being told there'd be a 15 day wait by Tesla before the problem could be looked at. I made Solaworx and Thoroughtec aware of the issue via email. Heard nothing back from Solaworx but got a response from Thoroughtec.
- In early 2024 an intermittent issue with the neurio meter started occurring. I didn't bother attempting to get the issue resolved by Solarworx based on my experiences with them up to that point. Since then I have been trying to get the issue resolved via direct contact with Tesla, and via Thoroughtec....so far with no resolution.
- to his credit Adrian at Thoroughtec has tried his best to help me out even though the onus should be on Solarworx to resolve my issues. I can't fault the installer.
- My advice to anyone considering PV or a battery...only deal with a company that does the actual installation. Avoid doing business with salesmen who then subcontract out the installation to other parties. Overall my experiences with Solarworx were very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone.
- I see a number of glowing recent reviews from people who have had Sigenergy systems installed by Solarworx. Good luck and hope you don't have any issues with those systems. If you have any issues theres a high chance you will like me end up having to deal with the equipment manufacturer and/or the installers.
